Israel has failed to secure peace with their Palestinian neighbors. Many would blame that on the
Palestinians. Many would blame it on the United Nations or the other leftist organizations. They
are all deserving. But what about the Israelis themselves? They pursued peace in good faith. But
were their policies effective? I think not. Was it predictable that they would fail? I fear so.
Israel was attacked by its Arab neighbors in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973 and 1982. Although Iran
continues attacks through its proxies Hezbollah and Hamas, the other Arab neighbors have not
attacked Israel in 42 years. Those nations that five times tried to destroy Israel now have formalized
peace treaties or are negotiating peace. Why? The answer is as simple as the history of war.
Because the Israelis prevailed militarily.

Israel has never sought a military solution to the Palestinian problem, and that has been their tragic
error. How long can a country endure rockets raining in on its civilian population? A military
incursion into Gaza was inevitable. The only question was when, and sooner might have avoided
October 7. Israel’s policy of trading thousands of jailed Palestinian terrorists for a handful of Israeli
captives has not only failed to create peace, it has emboldened their enemy and resulted in the
deaths of thousands of Israelis and Palestinians. Their “humane” policies have prolonged the
conflict and cost thousands of lives.
A hostage in Palestinians hands must be viewed as dead. Few of the hostages captured October 7

will survive this Israeli incursion into Gaza. Even the release of a handful of them through a cease-
fire negotiation allowing Hamas to re-arm can only result in more IDF and Palestinian deaths.

These are ugly facts. But they are facts.
The Israeli veil of compassion is the knife that strikes deeply into Israeli and Palestinian hearts.
No enemy can be won over through goodness and generosity when they are taught to hate from
birth. That is the enemy Israel faces. Throughout history, peace negotiations only came about when
one side prevailed or was about to prevail militarily. Negotiated peace is a euphemism for
negotiated surrender. Force is the only solution.

In spite of the contributions Jews have made to elevate every facet of the human condition, from
the arts to medicine to technology, the world is repeating it’s many thousands year-old default
position of anti Semitism. But this time it’s different. The Jews are feared because they have
nuclear weapons. The world will always voice it’s unjust vilification of Israel, but the fear of
nuclear retaliation will stop any military action.
Iran is the only nation unhinged enough to ignore this. That is why Israel must attack them before
they have a nuclear capability. Publicly Israel will be condemned, but privately the world will
thank them.

Israel must stop any negotiations with Palestinians. That means no terrorists released from jails
and no negotiations for hostages. They must continue to build their nuclear deterrent. They must
let the world know they are willing to do anything to survive. And they must make the enemy
know that any act of aggression will be met with swift and severe retaliation. Only after the enemy
understands he cannot win, and only after the world realizes supporting the Palestinian movement
provokes death and war, not peace, then and only then can peace be achieved.
